Friends of North Bruny (FONB) facilitates cooperation between North Bruny’s communities, Kingborough Council, State and Commonwealth Government and others.

We are made up of a group of residents & ratepayers of Bruny Island, and their immediate family.

We focus on issues like:

Specific things we do:

Make representations to and on behalf of the above bodies in relation to technical assistance, specialist knowledge, sponsorship, materials or other assistance with projects.
Promote and encourage a Land an Coastcare ethic in the community.
Obtain financial assistance through local fundraising, government programmes and sponsorship.
Ensure the community is aware of, and has input into, any developments or issues which impact North Bruny and the wider Bruny environment.
Partner with other Bruny based organisations to maximise opportunities for wellbeing on our island.
